A few days back, I received an invitation to become part of the local Tastcasters group. It was terribly flattering to be honest with you. Someone is actually taking my opinion about local food and drink seriously - Fait Accompli! That’s awesome.

I must begin with a story of a love affair we once had... That love affair was known as Tango's, and used to be located where you were. When Tango's closed, we were quite disappointed, as their kitchen was OUR kitchen, that's how often we were there. We allowed time to pass, and the last Thursday of April we found ourselves wanting to know what had replaced our past love affair. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised.

Thanks to the development of weapons, technology, and general cunning, humans long ago moved up the food chain from hunted to hunter, though we're still imminently vulnerable to sharks, and that damn shell game with the pea. For eats from some humans moving up the food chain of, um, food, hit Delicias Del Mundo.

April 18, 2010 - Likes it - This new restaurant is bound to succeed! All of the food is delicious, ESPECIALLY the octopus. Everything is delicate and prepared well. The staff is friendly, with a decent wine selection. A great place for a romantic date or a quick bite.
